The project explored people’s emotional and intellectual associations with libraries and reading. It analysed these associations, and worked with participants in focus groups, interactive library visits, and co-creative sessions to build ideas that might get people coming to Brent’s council-run libraries more often, borrowing more books, and using the wider suite of available library services. The project also looked at how the libraries’ stock and services, including its digital offer and communications/marketing, can better answer the needs of Brent residents.
