This briefing provides a profile of the Brent population according to the nine protected characteristics named in the Equality Act 2010: age, sex, disability, race, religion or belief, pregnancy and maternity, marriage and civil partnership, sexual orientation and gender re-assignment. It also covers additional indicators about language and the borough’s EU population. The report is intended to provide contextual data for officers doing equality analysis.
